Following the announcement that Wrenn School is one of the top 20% performing schools in the UK, Wrenn shortlisted for the Outstanding Progress (Secondary) Award at the Education Business Awards 2019 in recognition for the school’s swift transformation.
The Education Business Awards have a track record of showcasing exceptional schools and sharing success stories and examples of operational excellence.
The awards ceremony in London on 4 July was hosted by TV and radio presenter Angellica Bell. Steve Elliott, principal of Wrenn School, said “The school continues to make massive steps forward and it’s fantastic that we are now recognised as a top 20% performing school, an important milestone towards achieving our goal of being a top 5% performing school.
While we didn’t collect the top prize on this occasion, the nomination for a national award signifies our growing reputation for delivering a first-class learning experience.”
