There is an old phrase that says that it takes a village to raise a child. At Wrenn we wholeheartedly believe in our version of this view, that it takes our whole community to raise our children, and that the schools place is at the very centre of this idea.

As a school we are committed to supporting not only our local community, but we also actively seek links and opportunities throughout the county, creating partnerships that will enhance people’s lives.

Many of these links support the day to day work and activities of the school and its students. We have a very successful outreach programme, working with a number of other schools in sport and science. The school also actively supports local youth groups and clubs, providing facilities and expertise when and where required.
