Message from the Principal
On behalf of all our students and staff, I would like to thank you for taking an interest in Wrenn School and visiting our website.
With over 1300 students from ages 11-18, Wrenn School is a non-selective school predominantly serving the town of Wellingborough and surrounding areas. We are a thriving community, highly successful and committed to both individual and collective success.
As part of Creative Education Trust, our aim is to enable our young people to become pro-active thinkers and to equip them fully for the challenges of the 21st century.
I am very proud of our school and, most importantly, of the students and staff with whom I have the pleasure of spending each day.
At Wrenn School, we believe that our first priority is to provide the best care and guidance to help our children learn. We place this at the heart of every decision we make and continually ask ourselves: will this improve student learning?
The Wrenn values are central to our ethos and culture within school. In order for everyone to achieve their best, we have a constant focus on high standards from our students whether in uniform, behaviour, communication, manners or perseverance. We are relentless in our pursuit of the small things that we believe have a big impact on our school culture, environment and our students’ attitude to learning.
Work hard
Respect others
Enjoy learning
Never give up
Navigate your future
At Wrenn School we are proud of the progress our students make. We believe that all students can make outstanding progress and attain at the highest level, whatever their starting point.
We do not make excuses for our students: we firmly believe that there are no barriers to achievement that cannot be overcome by a determined and resilient student along with a supportive school team. We specialise in establishing what each student needs in order to make this outstanding progress and ensure that no child is left behind.
The bedrock on which our school community is built is the excellent relationships between staff, students, families and between students themselves. When you visit our school, you will notice the positivity and mutual respect that is shown to all members of the school community.
I hope that you find what you are looking for on this website. If not, please do contact us for further information. Likewise, if you are interested in attending Wrenn School or working as part of our team, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to welcoming you here.
With very best wishes,
Marianne Blake
