KS4 Curriculum

Key Stage 4 Curriculum: Years 10 and 11

Vice Principal Curriculum– Mrs L Parker

The Key Stage 4 curriculum at Wrenn School is ambitious and equips all pupils with the knowledge, skills and understanding they needs to strive for excellence. Building on their experience from the Key Stage 3 curriculum, pupils have the opportunity to study core subjects in more detail, while also broadening their horizons by accessing a wide variety of new option subjects.

The curriculum is designed to support the mastery of topics and theories with students encouraged to develop their learning and understanding linked to the knowledge and skills they will be examined on at GCSE and pursue further in Key Stage 5.

The documents found in the pages below detail the curriculum for individual subject areas:

From September 2021, all students will be studying a 3-year KS3 and a 2-year KS4. The year group who started Year 9 in September 2021 will make their option choices in Spring of 2022. More information about courses running will be released closer to the time in the form of an options booklet.

Please find the most recent options subject sheets below, used by Year 10 in March 2020:
