A morning which started with uncertainty ended with joy for students and staff at Wrenn School.
A Level results day is usually approached with a good balance of nerves and excitement and this year was no different!
The school celebrated success with over 60 A*-A grades and a 100% pass rate for the year 13 students.
Over the last 7 years, these students have demonstrated ambition and determination… today they have been rewarded with excellence. We could not be prouder of our young adults, especially with their personal strength over the last 4 months.
Individual successes were many and across a range of different subject areas:
Nichola Charlton gained A*, A*,A*,Dist*, A; Dawid Koscielniak gained A*, A*, A, B; Rossie Clarke gained A*, A*, A, B; Kierra Starr gained A*, A*, A, B; Katarina Afonso gained A*, Dist*, A, A; Kieran Connolly gained A*, A, A B; Matthew Berkshire gained Dist*, A, A, B and Florence Dubignon gained Dist*, A, A.
Natasha Thomas-Francis, Head of Sixth Form commented ‘We are extremely proud of the successes of our students during a time of unprecedented uncertainty. It is a confirmation of their work ethos that the majority of our students have secured their first choice at university; their dedication and resilience have paid off, and we expect them to flourish in their future pathways. A huge thank you to all staff and parents who have supported our fantastic students over the last two years. Unfortunately, we have not been able to celebrate with our students and their families in the traditional way; however, we extend a virtual pat on the back to all.’
