Wrenn Summer School 2021

Dear Parent/ Carer,

Summer School–23rd – 27th August 2021

I am writing to discuss an exciting opportunity we are offering all students who are joining us in September.

We have been running a successful summer programme for a number of years and have found this has provided a great opportunity for students to work closely with key members of staff whilst building strong friendships in their form groups. With students missing a large proportion of their traditional education over the last year, we would like as many students as possible to attend our summer school so urge you to make the most of this opportunity.

The week will involve a fun curriculum which will immerse the students in something completely new focused all on our Wrenn Values. There will be a large focus on curriculum areas such as P.E, Art, Drama and D.T as well as some project work using literacy and numeracy. We will also take part in a special adventure day trip where the students will be able to do activities such as high ropes, archery and climbing at the Bear Grylls Adventure centre in Birmingham. The summer school is completely free and we will provide the students with a complimentary lunch every day. Students who have previously attended our summer schools have not only thoroughly enjoyed the week but have felt more confident on their first days in September.

You will need to secure your place on the summer school by clicking on the link below and completing the form:
